Thirsk Office

Malcolm Parker
Trained with leading West Yorkshire firm of chartered Surveyors, qualified as Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 1980.
Worked for a national firm of Land Agents for four years before opening an office in Thirsk for an independent estate agent. Upon retirement of the principal he ran his own business from 1985 to 1999 before joining the company in 2002.
His specialisms include estate agency, valuation and surveying of residential properties.

Ripon Office

Douglas Marr
Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and former member of both their National Maintenance and Building Conservation Advisory panels. Many years have been spent in the service of Local Authority with ultimate responsibility for the care and maintenance of their complete portfolio of
properties from schools, elderly persons homes to smallholdings. Past president of the Chief Buildings surveyors Society. Established the Building Surveying arm of the Company covering both Ripon and Thirsk Offices. Specialisms include Building Surveys, Defects Analysis, Planning and Building Control, Improvement Grants, alteration and new build works with a particular interest in historic buildings and their future use.

Graham Seastron
Graham is our Surveying Technician offering many years of design and practical building experience on a variety of projects, particularly alteration and refurbishment of residential properties. Areas of expertise include refurbishment work, barn conversions, and work to historic buildings. A time served joiner with a wealth of practical experience, prior to working for Joplings he ran his own construction company.

Where necessary we have direct acces to other construction and planning specialists to ensure we can provide a full, complete and personal service to all clients.
